It's a very long way to Ras Kutani from the UK. There is the 10 hour flight or longer if you fly Emirates to Dar es Salaam, followed by over two hours on not very good roads, including an interesting river crossing, or a short flight which we declined based on previous experience, although I must admit we flew back!!
